Competition Stages

Three-stage evaluation process

1

Stage 1: Screening Round

  • β€’All registered teams receive a designated problem statement
  • β€’Submit proposed solution in 5-slide presentation format
  • β€’Outline problem understanding, approach, and key highlights
  • β€’Shortlisted teams advance to Stage 2

Stage 2: Working Phase (Onsite) + On-Table Evaluation

Working Phase:

  • β€’Physical presence required at venue
  • β€’Select one problem from 5 provided options
  • β€’Internet permitted for research & development
  • β€’All solutions must be original - plagiarism = disqualification

On-Table Jury Discussion:

  • β€’Judges visit each team at their table
  • β€’Explain problem understanding, thought process, design logic
  • β€’Evaluated on: clarity, innovation, engineering depth, viability

Stage 3: Final Presentation Round

  • β€’Top 5 teams selected by Jury
  • β€’10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A
  • β€’Every team member must participate
  • β€’Ready before 10 AM on 18 March 2026
  • β€’Jury's decision determines final rankings
