Laboratory Details

The EEE Department Is Well Equipped With Laboratories

ELECTRICAL MACHINES LABORATORY is established with a good quality AC & DC machines which include all types of DC Motor, DC Generator, AC Motor, AC Generator and Rectifier Unit. The lab also provides with necessary protection like insulating mats, fire extinguishers etc.  The lab gives the students sufficient practical knowledge and industrial applications of electrical machines.

ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENTS LABORATORY is one of the basic laboratories which meet the theoretical concepts taught in the Electrical Measurements. The lab is provided with necessary protection like insulating mats, fire extinguishers etc.

ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS LABORATORY is the main foundation for students on electrical and electronic engineering. The lab is equipped with twelve network experiments using discrete components on bread boards with full protection. The Electrical circuits Laboratory is to learn the basic laws and principles of DC and AC networks. It provides hands on practice to the students to connect and operate the circuits.

CONTROL SYSTEMS LABORATORY helps the students in enhancing their knowledge and skills in different concepts of control systems like Modeling control and design of systems. This includes hardware like Time Response Of Second Order systems, PID controllers, Synchros, compensators, applications of PID controllers like temperature controller, DC motors and Generators etc.

POWER ELECTRONICS LABORATORY provides an introduction to Power Electronic circuits and its applications for the control of Power. The power electronic circuits like Diode rectifiers, AC–DC converters, AC-AC converters, DC-DC Converters, DC-AC converters (Inverters) and static switches are used in the lab.

ELECTRICAL SIMULATION LABORATORY has been developed to perform simulation of real time machines, power systems, power electronics, and control systems on a virtual platform. Hence it provides them with better understanding of what they have studied theoretically and performed practically on physical systems.

This laboratory is equipped with 30 desktop computers. The laboratory is fully air conditioned and provides presentation facilities.

The laboratory is equipped with soft computing tools like MATLAB 2012a, Pspice Orcad Version 9.1, and PLC delta WPL software and Siemens software.
