Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SwarnandhraCollege of Engineering and Technology.
The Department offers two courses:
(i)  B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.
(ii)  M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering .

Ever since its inception in the year 2001 with an initial intake of 60 seats in B.Tech, the department has grown by leaps and bounds, not only in terms of quantity but also in terms of quality. Current it has intake of 180 seats in B.Tech and 18 seats in M.Tech. The highly qualified, immensely diligent and experienced faculty is continuously involved in developing the skill set of the students of the department. The department gives exposure to the students, about regular engineering curriculum as well as prepare them to face the challenges of today's corporate world, by inculcating a professional attitude in them.

The department is proud of running various international certification programs in CCNA &Cyber Securty, AWS under EduSkills and ICT Academy which provides an edge to the students over the students from other institutes. Center of Excellence in Big Data Analytics and Cyber Security.Recently the department received MODROB Grant to establish Internet of Things and Its Application Laboratory, where students can explore the career-options in Network Security, Drons Applications in Agriculture and other fields.
The department organizes number of workshops, seminars and guest lectures by inviting reputed experts from industry and academia. Department promotes active Industry- Institute interface by taking part in sponsored research and consultancy services. The long term objective of the department is to contribute in the research and consultancy projects from Government as well as from other reputed companies. On placement aspect, department has done exceedingly well with students working in reputed multinationals like Wipro, TCS, Oracle, Accenture, Cognizant, HCL, Polaris, IBM and many more. Recently the college has signed MoU with HUAWEI Technologies for imparting trainings, HCNA certification and placements assistance to the students Because of all these initiatives and efforts of the department, it remains as the most preferred choice of all the students seeking admission in ACET. In addition to offering Bachelor of Engineering (B Tech) degree, our department also offers a Master of Technology (M. Tech) programme in Computer Science and Engineering.
