Title: Department of CSE- Business Systems Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology The Farewell Day celebration titled “Sayonara 2026” for the outgoing batch (2022–2026) of the Department of CSE- Business Systems was conducted successfully on April 4, 2026, at the Placement Seminar Hall. The event commenced at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome note, setting an emotional and celebratory tone for the day. The venue was beautifully decorated with elegant black and gold themed balloons, stage backdrop, and lighting arrangements, creating a vibrant and memorable ambiance. A special photo display area with hanging memories and lights was also arranged, allowing students to relive their cherished moments. The program continued with an audio-visual presentation showcasing the journey, achievements, and memorable experiences of the seniors. Distinguished dignitaries, including management members, Principal, Vice Principal, Directors, and Heads of Departments, graced the occasion. They delivered inspiring and impactful speeches, motivating students for their future careers and appreciating their accomplishments. A significant highlight of the event was the felicitation of Dr. R.V.S.V.P. Prasad, Head of the IT Department, by the management members. He was honored with a shawl and memento as a mark of respect and recognition for his valuable contributions to the institution. The institution also recognized academic excellence by awarding cash prizes and mementos to academic toppers, encouraging students to strive for higher achievements. Additionally, all senior students were presented with personalized photo frames of their respective classes, serving as a token of love and remembrance. Overall, the Farewell Day celebration “Sayonara 2026” was conducted smoothly and successfully, leaving behind unforgettable memories and strengthening the bond between juniors and seniors.

Title: Swarnandhra College of Engineering & Technology successfully organised VISION-X 2026, a 36-hour National Level HACKATHON, on 25th & 26th March 2026 at the college campus. The event was conducted by the Departments of CSE-Business Systems with the aim of fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students. The HACKATHON brought together enthusiastic participants from various institutions across the country. During the event, students worked continuously for 36 hours to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The HACKATHON provided a dynamic platform for participants to showcase their technical skills, teamwork, and creativity under the theme “Where Vision Meets Victory.” The event witnessed active participation, innovative project ideas, and a competitive spirit among the teams. Faculty members and industry experts guided and evaluated the participants throughout the event. The management, faculty, and organising team expressed their appreciation to all the participants for their dedication and efforts, making the event a grand success.

Title: The Department of CSE -Business Systems organised a 3-Day Hands-on Data Analytics Workshop titled “Transform Data into Decisions” from 16th to 18th March 2026 at the CSBS Block in collaboration with Syntho Quest. The workshop was conducted by Mr.Mani Chokkara, a Data Analyst from Guntur, who served as the resource person. During the program, students were introduced to practical concepts of data analytics, data processing, and data-driven decision making through hands-on sessions. The event provided participants with valuable exposure to real-world data analytics tools and techniques, helping them enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills. The workshop was successfully organized at Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology.

The seminar helped students enhance their awareness and understanding of real-world cyber security challenges.

Title: INDUSTRIAL VISIT REPORT An industrial visit was organized for the III-year students of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering – Business Systems, Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology, Narasapur, to Absolin Software Solutions LLP on 23rd February 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The visit was accompanied and coordinated by faculty members Mr. Karunakar Kavuri and Mrs. P. Sridevi under the guidance of Dr. T. Murali Mohan, HOD, CSE-BS department. The primary objective of the visit was to expose students to the real-time working environment of a software company and help them understand the transition from academic learning to industry practices. The students arrived at the company at 3:00 PM and were welcomed by the organization’s representatives. For better interaction, students were allowed batch-wise,with each batch consisting of nine members. All students belonged to the III year, enabling effective engagement and observation of the professional workspace. During the session, the HR team and technical resource persons provided insights into organizational workflow, SDLC, teamwork practices, and industry expectations. Students actively participated and gained clarity regarding real-time project development and workplace ethics. As a gesture of gratitude, faculty and students presented a small memento to the CEO and the resource person. It will begin with the traditional Dussehra rituals, where participants will come together to observe age-old customs. The event will include cultural performances, such as traditional dance and music, that narrate the story of Dussehra, bringing its mythological aspects to life. These performances will offer a vibrant introduction to the festival’s deep cultural roots while encouraging creativity and participation among students.

The event was conducted with the aim of encouraging students to showcase their innovation, creativity, and technical skills. The fest featured a variety of competitions including Coding, PPT Presentation, Logo Design, Spontaneous Competition, Sudoku, and Chess. Students enthusiastically participated in all the events and demonstrated their talents, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. The entire event was organized smoothly with active coordination from faculty members and student volunteers. AGNIRVA 2K25 provided a vibrant platform for students to learn, compete, and interact, making the event a great success.
