Ltd.The workshop was conducted from 31 July to 6 August 2026 and provided students with practical training and hands-on experience in various areas of cybersecurity.The workshop covered Network Security Fundamentals, Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing, Web Application Security, Malware Analysis, Incident Response & Forensics, along with real-world cybersecurity labs and projects.The sessions were delivered by cybersecurity professionals from Synthoquest Pvt. Ltd., providing students with valuable expert mentorship, practical exposure, and industry-oriented knowledge.

Title: The Department of CSE(Cyber Security), Swarnandhra College of Engineering & Technology (SCET), organized a 6-Day Hands-on Training Workshop on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) in collaboration with SeedingMinds, Bengaluru. The workshop was conducted from 23rd July to 30th July to strengthen students programming knowledge, analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities while preparing them for coding assessments, technical interviews, competitive programming, and campus placements. The programme followed an experiential learning approach through expert lectures, live coding demonstrations, hands-on laboratory sessions, coding challenges, mentor interactions, assignments, and continuous assessments. Students practiced extensively using industry recognized coding platforms, enabling them to develop both technical competence and professional readiness.

Title: Expert Talk on AI-Based Cyber Security Systems The Department of CSE-Cyber Security, Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), successfully organized an Expert Talk on "AI-Based Cyber Security Systems" on 16th July 2026 at the Decennial Block Seminar Hall. The session was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Kota Solomon Raju, Chief Scientist, Aerospace Electronics & Systems Division (ALD), CSIR–National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bengaluru, and Professor at AcSIR. The expert shared valuable insights into the role of Artificial Intelligence in strengthening modern cybersecurity systems, covering topics such as intelligent threat detection, predictive security analytics, automated incident response, and emerging trends in AI-driven cyber defense. The talk provided students and faculty members with a comprehensive understanding of the latest developments in AI-powered cybersecurity and highlighted the growing significance of intelligent security solutions in today's digital landscape. The interactive session encouraged participants to engage in discussions on real-world cybersecurity challenges, research opportunities, and future career prospects in the field. The event concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, where participants interacted with the resource person and gained practical insights from his extensive research and industry experience. The session was highly informative and was well received by the attendees, making it a valuable learning experience for everyone present.

The venue was beautifully decorated with elegant black and gold themed balloons, stage backdrop, and lighting arrangements, creating a vibrant and memorable ambiance. A special photo display area with hanging memories and lights was also arranged, allowing students to relive their cherished moments.The program continued with an audio-visual presentation showcasing the journey, achievements, and memorable experiences of the seniors. Distinguished dignitaries, including management members, Principal, Vice Principal, Directors, and Heads of Departments, graced the occasion. They delivered inspiring and impactful speeches, motivating students for their future careers and appreciating their accomplishments.A significant highlight of the event was the felicitation of Dr. R.V.S.V.P. Prasad, Head of the IT Department, by the management members. He was honored with a shawl and memento as a mark of respect and recognition for his valuable contributions to the institution.The institution also recognized academic excellence by awarding cash prizes and mementos to academic toppers, encouraging students to strive for higher achievements. Additionally, all senior students were presented with personalized photo frames of their respective classes, serving as a token of love and remembrance.Overall, the Farewell Day celebration “Sayonara 2026” was conducted smoothly and successfully, leaving behind unforgettable memories and strengthening the bond between juniors and seniors.

The HACKATHON brought together enthusiastic participants from various institutions across the country. During the event, students worked continuously for 36 hours to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The HACKATHON provided a dynamic platform for participants to showcase their technical skills, teamwork, and creativity under the theme “Where Vision Meets Victory.” The event witnessed active participation, innovative project ideas, and a competitive spirit among the teams. Faculty members and industry experts guided and evaluated the participants throughout the event. The management, faculty, and organising team expressed their appreciation to all the participants for their dedication and efforts, making the event a grand success.

This visit helped students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation, enhancing their understanding of industry standards and professional skills. The session was highly interactive and informative, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain meaningful knowledge about the field.
