Title: Department of CSE- Cyber SecuritySwarnandhra College of Engineering and TechnologyThe Farewell Day celebration titled “Sayonara 2026” for the outgoing batch (2022–2026) of the Department of CSE-Cyber Security was conducted successfully on April 4, 2026, at the Placement Seminar Hall.The event commenced at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome note, setting an emotional and celebratory tone for the day. The venue was beautifully decorated with elegant black and gold themed balloons, stage backdrop, and lighting arrangements, creating a vibrant and memorable ambiance. A special photo display area with hanging memories and lights was also arranged, allowing students to relive their cherished moments.The program continued with an audio-visual presentation showcasing the journey, achievements, and memorable experiences of the seniors. Distinguished dignitaries, including management members, Principal, Vice Principal, Directors, and Heads of Departments, graced the occasion. They delivered inspiring and impactful speeches, motivating students for their future careers and appreciating their accomplishments.A significant highlight of the event was the felicitation of Dr. R.V.S.V.P. Prasad, Head of the IT Department, by the management members. He was honored with a shawl and memento as a mark of respect and recognition for his valuable contributions to the institution.The institution also recognized academic excellence by awarding cash prizes and mementos to academic toppers, encouraging students to strive for higher achievements. Additionally, all senior students were presented with personalized photo frames of their respective classes, serving as a token of love and remembrance.Overall, the Farewell Day celebration “Sayonara 2026” was conducted smoothly and successfully, leaving behind unforgettable memories and strengthening the bond between juniors and seniors.

Title: Swarnandhra College of Engineering & Technology successfully organised VISION-X 2026, a 36-hour National Level HACKATHON, on 25th & 26th March 2026 at the college campus. The event was conducted by the Departments of CSE-Cyber Security with the aim of fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students. The HACKATHON brought together enthusiastic participants from various institutions across the country. During the event, students worked continuously for 36 hours to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The HACKATHON provided a dynamic platform for participants to showcase their technical skills, teamwork, and creativity under the theme “Where Vision Meets Victory.” The event witnessed active participation, innovative project ideas, and a competitive spirit among the teams. Faculty members and industry experts guided and evaluated the participants throughout the event. The management, faculty, and organising team expressed their appreciation to all the participants for their dedication and efforts, making the event a grand success.

Title: The Department of CSE-Cyber Security at Swarnandhra College of Engineering & Technology organized a one-day seminar on “Cyber Security Issues and Its Protection” on 17th March 2026 at the CSBS Block. The session was delivered by Mr. Sai Satish, CEO of Indian Servers, who shared valuable insights on current cyber threats, data protection techniques, and best practices for online safety. The seminar helped students enhance their awareness and understanding of real-world cyber security challenges.

Title: The Department of CSE-Cyber Security 3rd year students(VI sem) organised an industrial visit to IPSC Global, Chennai on 13th March 2026 to provide students with practical exposure to real-world industry practices. students, accompanied by faculty members, participated in the visit. During the visit, students were introduced to the company’s working environment, current technologies, and professional practices followed in the industry. The experts at IPSC Global explained various technical processes and shared valuable insights into career opportunities, industry expectations, and real-time project execution. This visit helped students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation, enhancing their understanding of industry standards and professional skills. The session was highly interactive and informative, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain meaningful knowledge about the field. Overall, the industrial tour proved to be a valuable learning experience and contributed significantly to students’ academic and professional development.
