Jagedheeswar    2026-03-26 | : B.Tech - CSECS | : Swarnandhra College of Engineering & Technology successfully organised VISION-X 2026, a 36-hour National Level HACKATHON, on 25th & 26th March 2026 at the college campus. The event was conducted by the Departments of CSE-Cyber Security with the aim of fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students. The HACKATHON brought together enthusiastic participants from various institutions across the country. During the event, students worked continuously for 36 hours to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The HACKATHON provided a dynamic platform for participants to showcase their technical skills, teamwork, and creativity under the theme “Where Vision Meets Victory.” The event witnessed active participation, innovative project ideas, and a competitive spirit among the teams. Faculty members and industry experts guided and evaluated the participants throughout the event. Project title: Smart Substation Monitoring and Control System Using Blynk with Protection Features, Project Guide: Dr. Madhu Valavala.    2026-03-25 | : B.Tech - EEE | : IV EEE final year students got the participation certificate in Project Expo contest named as Genesis 2.O conducted in EEE Department, NIT AP, Tadepalligudem. Project title: Design and Fabrication of a motor based footstep power generation. Project Guide: Dr. Madhu Valavala.    2026-03-23 | : B.Tech - Mech | : Industrial Visit @ Chennai for III year Mechanical students    2026-03-23 | : B.Tech - AIML | : The Department organized a workshop on Machine Learning. The session was conducted by Dr. Anudeep Peddi, Founder and CEO of NIVUNA LABS, who served as the resource person.    2026-03-23 | : B.Tech - AIML | : The Department successfully organized a workshop on Big Data Analytics aimed at providing students with comprehensive insights into modern data processing techniques and industry practices. The session was conducted by Mr. Vidyasagar Vuba, a Senior Data Engineer and experienced trainer, who was invited as the resource person. His expertise and practical approach enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of contemporary tools, technologies, and methodologies used in big data analytics.    2026-03-20 | : MCA | : A N L Kumar, HOD, Department of MCA, has successfully completing the Online Certification Course on "Introduction to Quantum Computing: Algorithms and Qiskit" from 09/03/2026 to 13/03/2026, Organized by Aditya Learning Academy (ALA) in association with Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Aditya University, A.P. The attendance of the participant is satisfactory with a test score of 90%.    2026-03-20 | : B.Tech - Mech | : Department of Robotics organized "Hands on workshop on Robot Operating System", resource person Mr Rohit Kumar Das from IIT Bhubaneswar from 19th febuary to 19th march 2026 weekly 2hrs class    2026-03-18 | : B.Tech - Mech | : Design to Build Engineering Challenge – 24-Hour National Innovation Hackathon    2026-03-18 | : B.Tech - CSEBS | : The Department of CSE -Business Systems organised a 3-Day Hands-on Data Analytics Workshop titled “Transform Data into Decisions” from 16th to 18th March 2026 at the CSBS Block in collaboration with Syntho Quest. The workshop was conducted by Mr.Mani Chokkara, a Data Analyst from Guntur, who served as the resource person. During the program, students were introduced to practical concepts of data analytics, data processing, and data-driven decision making through hands-on sessions. The event provided participants with valuable exposure to real-world data analytics tools and techniques, helping them enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills. The workshop was successfully organized at Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology.    2026-03-17 | : B.Tech - CSECS | : The Department of CSE-Cyber Security at Swarnandhra College of Engineering & Technology organized a one-day seminar on “Cyber Security Issues and Its Protection” on 17th March 2026 at the CSBS Block. The session was delivered by Mr. Sai Satish, CEO of Indian Servers, who shared valuable insights on current cyber threats, data protection techniques, and best practices for online safety.
