The interactive session motivated students to set clear career goals and prepare themselves to meet industry standards. Students actively participated by asking questions and gained practical knowledge about corporate culture and professional development. Overall, the workshop was highly informative and inspiring, helping students bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.    2025-12-29 | : B.Tech - AIML | : AIML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) and AIDS (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) students took part in the AIGNITE National-Level Hackathon organized at Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology. The hackathon allowed students to apply their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in a real-time competition. Among participants, our students T. Hema Sri (23A21A61A5), Josna (23A21A6182) and P. Srivalli (23A21A61A7) from 3rd AIML-B won the Second Prize along with a cash award of ₹15,000.

Placement Cell:

The Placement cell operates year around to facilitate contacts between the companies and the students. Students are adequately trained in preparing resumes, handling group discussions and attending personal interviews. This facilitates in chalking out a right career path and equipping them for an effective job search.
Career guidance encompasses the concept of educational, vocational, personal and all other forms of guidance it aims at, enhancing the social image and status of the students and develops his personality, which is the soul aim of career counseling & placement cell, in addition to academic excellence. College has started promoting the activity of developing students’ skill for various competitive examinations and campus selection programs by arranging special lectures on personality development, in the field of administration, professionals and other related disciplines.

  • To be the mentor of students to frame their careers.
  • To enable placements for all students participating in the process.
  • To maintain strong relationships with recruiters and corporate bodies.
  • To strive and enhance the number of companies visiting PEC, to recruit in campus.
  • To increase the number of offers from recruiting companies.
  • To manage a streamlined Placement process, taking care of the interests of students, recruiters and the College.

 

The Cell is devoted to cater to the needs of the organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements. Interactions with organizations are regularly done for placement requirements. Placement cell also conducts career guidance workshops to the final and pre- final year students to face their future with confidence.

 

Functions:

  • To develop effective interface with industries of interest so as to facilitate training of students.
  • To inspire the faculty to update so as to include in their teaching the requirements of industry and produce industry ready graduates.
  • To approach industry for industry-institute partnership wherein the consultancy cum research projects can be offered to faculty members.
  • To create placement avenues in different industries for all the eligible students.
  • To train the students to upgrade their skill sets in tune with the requirements of the industry.
  • To arrange guest lecturers of Eminent Personalities from Industry for career counseling.
  • To arrange interactive sessions with people concerned in entrepreneurship and offer all the necessary guidance to encourage young entrepreneurs.
  • Provide the information pertaining to further studies in various International and National Prominent institutes for the advanced career building.
